When you look at a structure like a building or a bridge, we automatically trust and are assured that the structure is sturdy and functions properly. We know that humans have made all the measurements, tested all the torques and weights, put all the materials under stress to make sure they are worthy and scaled the structure properly to last for years and years. We completely trust the maths inside the structure, because it's the maths that makes it safe and it's the maths that makes it beautiful.
