I really like lorries and would like to be a lorry driver when I grow up. This is a photo from Truckfest and I wondered what maths you need to be a lorry driver. You need to know fuel costs and how to plan a route that is fuel efficient and how many miles you have driven. Recording your time driving and your breaks is part of the job, as is knowing the weights of your cargo and how much you can fit and how to store it efficiently. You should be able to read a map as well so you don’t get lost.
