I went to Safari Park with my sister and saw lots of dinosaurs! Did you know that maths can help us travel back in time? Scientists use numbers to estimate how old fossils are, which helps us understand when dinosaurs lived. They also count fossils, just like I count my toys, to find out how many kinds of dinosaurs there were. Sometimes, scientists have to make smart guesses if they can’t find all the fossils. Maths helps them measure dinosaur bones to see how big they were. By comparing the shapes and sizes of different bones, scientists can guess how many types of dinosaurs lived a long time ago. Using maths i can travel back in time.
