This is a picture of us doing archaeology on a school trip. I choose this picture because archaeologists have to use maths. They need to measure how deep they dig because the deeper you dig the older the things you find are. They measure where they find stuff and draw it on a map. They use scale drawing to do this. They need to be good at counting all their finds and they also use maths when doing geophysics of the site.
