The teapot and cup is a demonstration of how fluid dynamics can be visually interesting and aesthetically pleasing in the same visual form. The way the light passes through the tea coming from the spout is an example of how the complex 3d quadratic equations form a funnel which pushes out the water with visually distinct jets and waves.
