While studying photography it was important to know about compositions such as 'rules of thirds' and long known proportions in nature and imitated by man; 'the golden rule'. I find it amazing that in nature, maths has found a formula that is found time and time again. Whether you believe in God or believe in Science or a little bit of both; no-one can deny the fact that that is not amazing. This image of a snail shell shows the beauty of those golden rules by displaying its golden spiral. It truly does show the 'maths inside' nature.
