Maths is extremely prominent in the oil industry. This can be linked to my photograph due to the main subject of the oil rigs in my photo. There are also perpendicular lines with the horizon and the vertical of the oil rigs making them look more strong and steady against the sea. Furthermore I feel they represent climate change as the dark and imposing nature of the oil rigs in the sea represents mankind taking over nature. I have titled this 'Rigged Future' as I believe these ominous oil rigs symbolise the future that humans have already set for ourselves, it's 'rigged'.
