I often study the Moon with my telescope and take pictures of it. The Moon is smaller than the Earth and I wonder how many times would it fit into the Earth? There is fractions when we say a half moon, a quarter moon and a full moon but we never say a three quarter moon. The temperature on the Moon can be much colder than on Earth so we can measure that in degrees. How many miles is it from the Earth to the Moon? How long would it take to fly there in a rocket if the rocket went like 100 miles an hour? What year did the first astronaut walk on the Moon? How long ago was that? How many men have walked on the Moon? How much would I weigh on the Moon because the gravity is about 6 times less there?
