alt text
It takes about 50 days for a tomato to grow from a small green fruit to a juicy red ripe one. During this time we take care of the plant by watering it. Every week we carefully measure 20ml of liquid fertiliser and add it to the water. The tomatoes will only ripen if the temperature is between 21-29 degrees Celsius. Once the tomato is ripe it takes another 21 days for it to decompose.
