Katie is in my class and has really long hair. I was wondering how long it would take for my hair to grow as long as Katie’s. I used a meter stick to work it out because a normal ruler was too short and Katie holded her hair. I found Katie’s hair is 47cm long and my hair is 6cm long. I found online that hair growth is different in different people, but it it grows on average 1cm a month. Katie's hair is 41cm longer than mine. It would take 41 months to grow. If Katie’s hair stayed the same length it would take me 3years and 5 months to make my hair that length. I think I will keep my hair short!
