"In our daily cooking we have to time things correctly to be make sure our food is cooked properly. In my picture i am waiting until the water is at boiling point which is 100°C and then i cook my eggs for 5 minutes so they are cooked just the way i like them. Without my knowledge of math i would not how to use my clock to time them and wouldn't be able to cook my favourite breakfast."
