Coils are cool because they look like curly springs! When you look at them they’re like a twisty line that keeps wrapping around itself. You can find coils in lots of things, in a slinky or even in a telephone cord. They can be tight and squished together or big and loose, and they can help things move or hold energy. It’s like a magic trick that makes things work better! I love how something so simple can be used in so many ways, and it makes me want to learn more about how coils are used in machines and toys!
