I came out of the store restless, running and laughing. But as soon as I noticed there were not one but two rainbows (I hope you can see the second rainbow too), I became excited then silent. I stood amazed. I noticed the second rainbow is paler and the order of the colours a symmetry of the first rainbow.
I didn’t want to leave. Later I asked how can there be two rainbows? I didn’t understand how the sun could reflect twice on droplets of rain to make the colours appear… I knew maths is fun, but today I saw maths is beautiful.
