When I am out an about on the farm I do lots of maths like measuring feeding for the cows. Farmers also need a passport with a barcode for the cows to get sold and the cow’s ear tags are numbered to help farmers identify their cows.
This is a sheep dosing gun for worming the sheep. You need maths to work out how much they should get of the medicine and how much medicine you need to have from a 2.5 litre carton of medicine. A sheep weighing 91–100kg needs a 20ml dose which will do 250 sheep. For a 41–50kg sheep they need 10ml and it will do 500 sheep. So you have to know how many sheep and how much they each weigh. Farming needs good maths skills.
