One Small Step for Climate Change (Climate Change)

It is important to try and help with climate change. My photograph is five different fruits, that we bought from the greengrocer, there is no plastic packaging. Normally when we buy these fruits they are covered in plastic, this is bad for climate change. I wanted to find out how many pieces of plastic packaging could be saved if we were to buy five pieces of fruit, without the plastic packaging, for a whole year. For this I did a chimney dum. There are 52 weeks in a year. There are 5 different fruits. So 52 multiplied by 5 equals 260. That's a lot of plastic saved just in our house! I then thought about the houses on the street too and if they did the same. I counted there are 16 houses on my street. I needed to do another chimney sum to work this out. So I already worked out that it would be 269 pieces of plastic for each house. So the chimney sun is 260 multiplied by 16 which is a massive 4,160 pieces of plastic saved just in my street! Imagine what the whole of Scotland could save in plastic by doing this one small step for climate change?
