The sea has lots of maths in it. You can mark and measure the sea level and tides by drawing on the ground, or wall, with chalk and see if it gets washed away. You can measure this using centimetres and metres. There are also lots of different shapes caused by the ripples. Behind the water, on the pier, there are right angled triangles and the building has pentagons. The wall underneath the white railing is also a scalene triangle. I like walking along the harbour to watch the waves.
