I observed that during breakfast time each morning my bowl contains cereals of 2 shapes — circle and square. I notice that each scoop contained 5 pieces of cereals, thus 4 scoops give me 20 pieces in total. I dont have to add 5 pieces four times, but I can simply use the 4 times table and the answer is 20! I also notice that I can eat two pieces of cereal per spoon whereas my baby sister can only eat one piece per spoon. Thus, I only need 10 spoons to eat up my 20 pieces whereas my baby sister needs 20 spoons and she is so slow! I also notice that when I first put the cereals in milk, they float but after some time, they sink. Perhaps thats because they absorb milk and become heavier and of course heavy objects sink unlike the lighter ones that float. Hmm… breakfast times have become so much more fun now that I notice more and more fun facts about my cereals!
