Graphs, analysis, statistics, new daily increases, falling numbers giving hope... And then again, a high daily increase in the number of cases. The number of deaths, the number of occupied beds and ventilators in intensive care units, 14 days of quarantine, a two-metre social distance and the questions that keep us awake at night: in how many days, months or maybe years will this end and how many litres of this fluid have I already used, which only 6 months ago was worth its weight in gold, and now is everywhere, pouring in hectolitres. Large bottles, small bottles, sprays — 50ml, 250ml, 5 litres — and that choking odour of 70% alcohol in the air. Numbers, even in the name: COVID-19, our everyday life.
