I thought it would be interesting to explore the idea of perception in maths. For most of us, we got through life not really taking notice of the things we see until something unusual or interesting makes us stop and pause. I used a kaleidoscope to get the effect of a repeat pattern and broke up the image of an eye, so finely measured and precise that the slightest movement in any of the parts can result in us not seeing properly. I think most of us don't see properly, we don't truly see, until we are directed towards what's inside.
