Melanie wanted to work out how many days she would need to finish her book. She found the book had 104 pages and she was on page 53 with 52 left. She aimed to read 10 pages a day and worked out 52/10 was 5.2 so it would be 6 days of reading to finish (5 days of 10 pages and 1 day of 2 pages). She then added the final 2 pages into 2 of the other days so she would finish in 5 days instead (2 days of 11 pages and 3 days of 10 pages).
