I helped my Mummy wash my family's clothes at home. I noticed that there were lots of numbers to choose from when picking the temperature and asked to pick the highest number but she explained that washing at as low a temperature as possible helps to cut CO2 emissions, save energy and help protect our environment. So lets all 'go low' and shrink our carbon footprint without shrinking our clothes!
