We were making blackberry crumble and bread rolls and soup for our harvest lunch for the elderly in our community. The vegetables and backberries came from the school grounds. We used measuring skills because you had to measure the right amount of flour and follow the recipe. You had to multiply as well to make enough to feed a large number of people, so we multiplied our bread recipe by 5.
