Big Cup Little Cup (In the Home)

In my house I have a dolls house with doll sized furniture including a little teacup that matched one from our kitchen. It looked like a magician had shrunk it! I took a picture of the big cup and my dad helped me to put it into the computer. I found out that to make the big cup smaller I had to make it smaller both sideways and up and down by the same amount. If I only made it smaller one way or by one side more than the other it looked wonky! I learned that this is called proportion. There is maths hidden inside my house and my dolls house!
