​I like photography. This is my photo of my camera taking a photo of my camera taking a photo and so on for the maths inside competition. Did you know that shutter speed involves measuring in fractions of a second? Shutter speed is how long the camera shutter stays open. A fast shutter speed would stay open for 1500 second, while a slow shutter speed would stay open for ¼ second. Why do we have different shutter speeds? It is for taking photos of things in motion. Fast shutter speed photos look like you have just paused time and are sharp and in focus. Moving things in slow shutter speed photos look blurry and give an idea of movement happening. So now you know about shutter speed you will know how to take the right sort of ’in motion’ photo for the maths inside photo competition!
