Did you know that a stag’s antlers can tell us a lot about them? Mainly their age. This stag was captured oot and about on Islay and we can tell it is about eleven or twelve years old. We know this because of the number of points it has per antler. Each year, it grows more points. We use the term ‘growing back’ as a stag gets older and the antler points start to go back.
