We can use maths to figure out how much food a cow needs. Other uses of maths to do with cows are: in cow farming, maths is used to identify how much money you would spend on a cow– for example vet bills, which you would need to add up all the cows that need help; maths is also needed to weigh cows and measure them to tell how many cows can fit in a vehicle with a certain weight capacity; and we go back to food. Since cows come in different breeds and sizes, depending on the size, they will need a certain amount of food. We can also control how heavy they get, for meat so we would need a formula for how much they get, if you want to increase their weight or decrease their weight. So cows, surprisingly, need a lot of maths to ensure their wellbeing.
