We started learning 3D shapes in P3 this term and I can see shapes everywhere around us. My favorite thing to do is building lego bricks in my spare time and there are so many different shapes and sizes Lego bricks. Each shape has different number of faces, edges and vertices. In this photo, it was taken at the legohouse in Billund when I visited in Easter, and I’m fascinated by the shape of the building as it just looks like a bigger version of my lego bricks. Lots of cubes, big and small stacking together. I wondered how many faces, edges and vertices when the cubes stacks with one another. There must be an interesting maths inside to make sure the cubes are all staying still.
