Maths inside is a photo competition open to everyone in Scotland. - Maths Week Scotland 2024! entries are now with judges! Can you see the maths inside? πΈ
Maths is part of our daily life, have you ever thought about it? π€ The house, exercise route, daily dog walks and the weekly shop turned into a playground… your chance to get creative and make mathematical connections!
Can you see the maths inside? Send us a photo with the maths inside sticker on it to enter the competition into one of our categories. Your photo should be accompanied by a title and commentary explaining the maths inside, and mind to add the maths inside sticker. Participation can be individual or in small groups. Open to all ages. π Take a look at our prizes!
If you are under 16, you will need permission and help from your parents/carers/teachers to enter. It is very easy, you just need to take a photo and follow the submission instructions with the help of an adult. Back by popular request, those out-of-school can continue to submit their entries to Another Level. Entries were accepted from Friday 1st September until 11:59pm on Monday 30th September 2024 Maths inside is a photo competition open to everyone living in Scotland hosted by the University of Glasgow. Can you see the maths inside?

Join us to celebrate at our (rescheduled) prize ceremony online live at 11am on Saturday 16th November 2024 (“doors open” 15 mins before start time) and available to watch again after the event for 180 days
